«Zemnoy Sputnik» is the fifth and last track from my retrospacey series and it is again only available on Bandcamp and Soundcloud.
For this track, I embarked on a creative journey using only hardware synthesisers, diving deep into the tactile and hands-on experience that they offer. I brought together a diverse array of equipment, starting with the Behringer Crave, JT-4000 Micro, and Pro-800, each contributing their unique character to the sonic landscape. The unmistakable acid lines were shaped by the Behringer TD-3, while the rich, resonant bassline was crafted using the Roland SH-01A, adding depth and groove to the mix. For the rhythmic foundation, I turned exclusively to the Roland TR-08, whose classic drum sounds provided the perfect punch and precision.
As for the genre, I find it difficult to pin this track down to a specific label. It flows somewhere between the realms of Electronica, with a clear influence of House and Techno elements. Let’s just say it’s a hybrid creation that blends the best of these worlds.
